welcome
My name is Deborah Hill and I help parents and families to heal and move forward from “no contact” adult children.
I believe it is helpful to work with a life coach who has experienced AC estrangement, and is well informed about this social epidemic.
I’m familiar with what many of us try to do when facing this devastatingly painful “movement”. Phone calls, texting, emails to your adult child, dropping off gifts, offers of counseling …
anything and everything you could think of to help reunite your family. It seemed like the right way to fix this, right?
Unfortunately, doing those perfectly normal things for your no contact adult child (AC) often results in pushing them further away.
I will help you learn how to detach and stop chasing your AC.
I’m not saying there is never a time for safe reuniting, but let’s figure out how to live a quality life in the meantime.
You are not alone and you can do this!

What You Might Be Feeling

• "I feel shocked and blindsided. We dedicated ourselves to being supportive and loving parents to our child, but the narrative has been completely re-written."
• "They have now erased us and "flipped the script". They somehow feel entitled to build shocking false narratives and accusations about us, even to the extent of placing untrue psychiatric diagnostic labels on us."
• "Where does this callousness, this sudden lack of love and compassion come from? We are mourning the human being they used to be."
• "I feel such a devastating sense of loss for the future family life I thought we all had in front of us. Our family has been ripped apart, and my child seems completely uncaring about the damage they have done to our whole family, including our grandchildren."
• "Why don't these "adult"children have the maturity to talk to us? The silent treatment is for rebellious teenagers."
• “I feel angry at times over their cruelty. I need to let go of the anger, as it serves no purpose.”
• "I need to learn how to grieve this and move on to a better life -
with or without them.”
